So sorry I missed I Love Cairns speeches yesterday due to Farmgate comittments. By all accounts it was a fantastic showcase not just for Cairns but also for Toastmasters and most importantly our own club. Congratulations Celia and Rod.
Rod was also selected as the Peoples’ Choice winner on the day and was presented with a gourmet basket donated by simply hampers…simply the best.
In my role as VPM I talked to lots of people at Farmgate yesterday about the competition and the benefits of belonging to such a club as ours. So hopefuly we may see some new guests at future meetings to boost our membership even further.
