Christine Reghenzani, a past member of Marlin Coast Toastmasters in Cairns has shifted to Malanda and now that she has settled in, is keen to establish a new Toastmasters Club there.
A planning meeting was held recently and was attended by Christine, her husband John, Anne McKinnon (Area 32 Governor), Nicky Jurd (President, Mt Sheridan), two members of the previous Malanda Club who wish to rejoin (Brigitte Daley and David Knox) and another 4 interested people (David and Rosanne Funston and Suzanne and Michael Horton).
The Club will be called Top Table Toastmasters and will meet at the Malanda Lodge for a dinner meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at 6.30pm arrival for a 6.45pm start.
A demonstration meeting will be held at the Malanda Lodge on Wed 28 April in order to stimulate interest from potential members in the area.
